Isegoria founder Ben Swann reported on blockchain, cryptocurrency and decentralization while attending The North American Bitcoin Conference last week in Miami. Swann shared that the event was heavily focused on the numerous applications of blockchain technology rather than tokens and cryptocurrency markets.
Swann explained that blockchain technology is being embraced by large companies including IBM, JP Morgan and Walmart, and noted that this conference served to showcase why an increasing number of major companies are utilizing the technology. Swann also explained how his own upcoming project, the Isegoria platform, seeks to utilize decentralization to power this platform and create a new way for independent media companies to obtain funding for production.
